LGBTQ+ Books Celebration Event
Let's celebrate the LGBTQ+ books published during the past 2 years (by folks in town for the American Studies Association Conference)!
During the pandemic, many folks have been unable to have book tours and do events. Let's celebrate the awesome books published over the past 2 years and the authors who wrote them!
We are meeting at the queer-owned bar, L'Idéal Bar & Contenu (151 Ontario est,) from 6 PM to 8 PM. (The bar is on the ground floor. There are numerous drink options without alcohol. )
This celebration is happening right after the ASA panel on Feminist and Queer Worldmaking: Solidarity and Radical Spaces Outside the Academy at queer feminist bookstore L'Euguélionne (1426 Rue Beaudry) from 4:00 to 5:40 PM. It takes 15 minutes to walk between the two locations (or 8 minutes via public transit + walking OR 5 minutes by bike).
(This is not an official ASA event).
Books we will be celebrating!
