Professor, University of Southern California

Rhacel SalazarÌýParreñas is Florence Everline Professor of Sociology and Professor of Gender and Sexuality Studies at the University of Southern California. She is an ethnographer who studies labor, gender, international migration, the family and economic sociology. She is the recipient of the 2019 Jessie Bernard Award from the American Sociological Association.
