Published: 15 September 2020
The J. B. Tyrell Historical Medal is awarded every two years for outstanding work in the history of Canada. From the start of his career, Prof. Greer was interested in Canada’s colonial roots and its Indigenous Past. His publications span topics as diverse as rural Quebec history, a biography of a Mohawk Saint, and a large-scale interpretation of how Indigenous lands were transformed into property for colonists.
