Dr. Donald A. Henderson Prize for Outstanding Global Health Research

For a second year, the McGill Community can nominate an outstanding global health paper from a Junior Faculty Member!

Nominate outstanding, published research in the global health field by junior faculty appointed in the Faculty of Medicine, Ï㽶ÊÓƵ. That Faculty member runs the chance to win one of two $500 awards (with plaques)Ìý given at Global Health Night, November 7, 2017.

Publications for consideration can be submitted by the publication’s author, a peer, or the department chair.Ìý Nominations must be received by October 11, 2011 11:59PM.

ÌýThis award is named after Dr. Donald A. Henderson who was instrumental in the eradication of smallpox worldwide. Read about his legacy .

Ï㽶ÊÓƵ is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous Peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg Nations. McGill honours, recognizes, and respects these nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which peoples of the world now gather. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous Peoples from across Turtle Island. We are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land.
