Our GIS day this year will revolve around Space and Place.
Stop by and learn about Geographic Information and Geospatial Data Science!
Keynote speech by Prof. Grant McKenzie at 1 p.m., BH511 on 鈥淪pace, Place and the Fourth Paradigm of Science鈥�
Further talks by ESRI, Statistics Canada, LocalLogic and our former grad students, Chris Liang and No茅 Schultz (schedule see below). We will also have a mapathon by OMG McGill!
We will have the students鈥� GIS works session (McGill students, please send your GIS related poster or presentation to gicsupport [at] mcgill.ca by Nov, 9 and have the chance to win a price!), free coffee and, of course, the Wine & Cheese reception.
