Défi Canderel 2022

This year, the Défi Canderel took the format of a virtual 2K Run!

Every May, the Défi Canderel organizes a run through the streets of Montreal to raise money for two local cancer research centres, one of which is the Rosalind and Morris Goodman Cancer Research Institute. Due to COVID-19, there was no scheduled event, but the GCI organized its own virtual fun run instead - just like last year!

On Sunday, July 31st, 2022, we asked the McGill community to do a virtual 2K run, walk, or cycle in their local neighbourhood. We also encouraged people to invite their friends and family to run with them to raise awareness because cancer doesn’t stop during a pandemic.

Thank you to everyone who supported our Défi Canderel race. We smashed our goal and raised a whopping $7071.80 because of you; we can continue our fight against cancer.
