/familymed/taxonomy/term/253/all en /familymed/article/health-community/department-family-medicine-opens-new-clinic-lakeshore-general-hospital <p>On September 18, 2024, the McGill Department of Family Medicine, in collaboration with the CIUSSS de l’Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal and the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation, opened the Lakeshore University Family Medicine Group (U-FMG), a Family Medicine teaching clinic at the Lakeshore General Hospital. This clinic has now become the 12<sup>th</sup> home base to residents in the McGill Family Medicine program which counts over 200 residents.
