The 13th Annual McGill Interdisciplinary Geriatric Seminar
A Global Approach to Chronic Illness during this Time of Change
The purpose of this year’s seminar is to offer our colleagues the opportunity to reflect on a global approach to chronic illness; an approach that must be integrated and maintained when delivering care to the elderly, particularly during this period of change in our healthcare system. Will these changes improve our professional practice, the continuum of care, the collaboration between our healthcare partners, the support to caregivers?
Throughout the day, you will have the opportunity to hear various speakers share their expertise and point of view on different approaches in line with the multiple manifestations of chronic illness.
The goal of this day is to improve our approach to clients including the establishment of adequate services in order to better support our elderly clients, their caregivers and the healthcare professionals. The seminar will also give you the opportunity to network with a wide range of partners in our healthcare system.
