- Understand the historical construction of race as a biologic category and its limitations as a proxy for genetic background.
- Recognize how the development of a racialized hierarchy in society has had populational health implications over time.
- Develop strategies to critically review the pertinence of race-based clinical evidence and practice (done is small groups).
