Faculty Development: Teaching Billing to Residents (Session 1)
This session was created to empower our U-FMG teachers to help residents be prepared to practice out in the community as self-employed, independent family physicians.
Created by Emelia Hecht, MDCM, and Jessica Tremblay, MDCM, family physicians from the Queen Elizabeth U-FMG teaching site, this dynamic session is designed to fit into your busy schedule. That's why we are offering it twice—don’t miss your chance to join!
The webinar will be given in English but everyone is encouraged to speak in the language they are comfortable in.
Date: Monday November 18, 12 to 1.30pm.
Where: Virtually by Zoom.

Upon completion of the workshop, participants should be able to :
- Describe the relationship between mentorship and practice management
- Summarize the basics of billing
- Apply a framework to teach residents about billing
