Every year, the College (Collège des Médecins du Québec) Awards highlight the outstanding achievements of physicians who practice their profession with heart and rigor. This is the CMQ's way of highlighting the extraordinary work that is accomplished every day in healthcare, research and teaching settings.
This year, Dr. Pierre-Paul Tellier, a family physician within the Department of Family Medicine, is a finalist for the Humanism Prize which recognizes the social commitment of a doctor whose actions, open-mindedness and dissemination of knowledge contribute to the well-being and development of patients and the community, or to the development of philanthropic organizations. The career of this doctor, who embodies the humanist values advocated by the College, is marked by dedication, sharing and mutual aid, both with his or her colleagues and the public.

About Dr. Pierre-Paul Tellier
Dr. Pierre-Paul Tellier is a family doctor, and an expert in adolescent medicine. He developed the Mauve Clinic, which is the first to have developed specific expertise to treat racialized patients, immigrants, and from the LGBTQ2s+ community.
