Steam shutdown planned on downtown campus on Oct. 3

A shutdown of steam distribution is planned on the downtown campus on the morning of Thursday, October 3, 2024, between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. This shutdown is necessary for Facilities Management and Ancillary Services to replace pieces of equipment.Â
This shutdown will affect all buildings on the downtown campus that rely on steam for:
- domestic hot water production,
- sterilization,
- humidification,
- and heating.
The buildings that will be affected are:
