Vishakha Wijenayake
Biography: 

Vishakha Wijenayake reports to the Senior Research Equity Advisor and supports McGill researchers in understanding and applying best-principles and practices to embed equity, diversity, and inclusion in the design and operation of their research programs. She completed her doctorate in law at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ. Prior to studying at McGill, she has worked in academia, and practiced human rights and humanitarian law. She is interested in critical, plural, and interdisciplinary research and has publications on issues relating to academic freedom, human rights and humanitarian law, and transitional justice.
