Biography: 

Lynda joined the Equity team in 2022 as an Equity Education Advisor (Anti-Racism and Anti-Oppression Education). Her work primarily focuses on developing and leading education-based initiatives for staff and faculty towards anti-racism and anti-oppression. Lynda has worked in a range of educational contexts, including higher education, as a teacher and curriculum developer. She holds a B.Ed. and Certificate in Global Citizenship from the University of Alberta, and an M.A. in Education and Society from McGill, where she completed a thesis entitled: Investigating the Relationships among Anti-Blackness, Racism and Mental Health for Black Instructors in an Alberta College.
