Felix FUCHS
Felix Fuchs is a PhD candidate in the Dept. of English. He works on Postcolonial and World literature with a focus on South Asia. His research focuses on the post-partition novel in Urdu, the travelogue in South Asia as well as on Global Anglophone literature since 1990. In his dissertation, he revisits classical theorizations of the novel in the context of postcolonial literary production in English to argue that realism is a form of representation that since the end of the Soviet Union has emerged as a global paradigm and a response to a fully globalized capitalist world-system.
