Presentation by Eric Lamarre, PhD and Jacomo Corbo, PhD

Eric Lamarre is a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company and the North American leader of McKinsey Digital. He advises global companies in the financial services, advanced industries, and resources sectors. His expertise areas include: large-scale technology-enabled transformations, risk management, business strategy, post-merger management, and productivity improvement programs.

Eric is a member of the McGill Faculty of Engineering Advancement Board. He received his B.Eng. in Civil Engineering from Ï㽶ÊÓƵ and his PhD in Civil Engineering from MIT.

Jacomo Corbo is a cofounder and the Chief Scientist of QuantumBlack, an advanced analytics firm operating at the intersection of strategy, technology and design to improve performance outcomes for organizations. He leads a team of data scientists and analytics engineers focused on the development and engineering of generalizable and powerful methods, tools and infrastructure to build predictive, explanatory and optimization models with high-dimensional and large-scale data.

Jacomo holds a Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science at Harvard University, an S.M. in Applied Mathematics from the Harvard Graduate School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, and a B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from Ï㽶ÊÓƵ.
