Projections: Kwe Exhibition Launch
Join us for the launch of Projections: Kwe, the inaugural digital exhibition in the Projections series, which features artwork from a variety of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities projected in the McConnell Engineering Building lobby
Virtual launch: April 13th at 4pm
Special guest speaker: Dayna Danger
The launch and exhibition are free and open to the public. All are welcome!
Projections: Kwe was initiated and curated by the Engineering Undergraduate Society's Indigenous Inclusion Committee (IIC) to help increase the visibility and representation of Indigenous students and cultures in the Faculty of Engineering, and was developed in collaboration with Faculty of Engineering’s Dean’s office, the Provost’s Indigenous Initiatives office, and McGill’s Visual Arts Collection. It is the first exhibit of its kind at McGill.
In concert with Projections: Kwe, the Faculty of Engineering has installed two permanent artworks by Benjamin Chee Chee, Afternoon Flight and Friends, on the first floor of the McConnell Engineering Building.
