James Dyson Award Information Session
“The James Dyson Foundation", the charitable arm of Dyson, aims to inspire the next generation of engineers. Every year, as part of this mission, the Foundation hosts an international design competition: the James Dyson Award. The James Dyson Award challenges students and recent graduates around the world to design something that solves a problem. They are looking for innovative, socially conscious inventors who challenge the status quo and provide meaningful solutions to real issues.
They run in 27 countries and regions, which cover a total of five continents with a population of almost 4 billion—almost half the planet. This means that the scale of the problems tackled, and diversity of solutions is growing.
International winner receives $35,000 and $5,000 for their universityâ€
