Target Audience:聽All staff and students required to work with a class 3B and/or 4 laser must follow this course.

McGill聽students & staff click on聽register online聽using the McGill Human Resources Staff Development course registration system.聽Note:聽You will need to sign in on the top left side of the page.

Non-McGill student聽registrants please complete and submit the聽Paying Participant Training Form

Certification:聽A Laser Safety Course certificate is presented to participants who successfully complete the written exam. Certification is valid for a period of 3 years. If you have participated in a Laser Safety Course within the last 3 years, you are not required to attend again.

Duration:聽3 hours (including examination time)

Cost (McGill):聽Free for McGill Community (students, staff and faculty). When registering using the on-line registration system you will be prompted to enter a FOAPAL - no FOAPAL is required therefore leave the field blank.

Cost (Non-McGill):聽$50 (if paid by PI); $150.00 per person plus applicable taxes for other payment methods.
