Biography:
Michael Wade is a researcher with the Environmental Health Science and Research Bureau at Health Canada in Ottawa. His research examines the consequences of exposures to commercial chemicals on reproduction and early development with a particular focus on hormonal control of development. In addition, Dr. Wade contributes to the development and validation of standardized toxicity assays used to screen and test chemicals for endocrine disrupting activity. He represents Canada on several committees at the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development that develop and validate standardized Test Guidelines used to for characterize toxicity of commercial chemicals for risk assessment. Dr. Wade will contribute to Aim 2.
