Paul Dickinson

Paul Dickinson has taught in the Economics Department 25 years, during which time he worked as a consultant for the Government of Canada and some provincial governments. His social policy consulting projects have included evaluating the Canada Pension Plan, the Old Age Security and Guaranteed Income Suplement programs for Canada's senior citizens, and assisting with a New Brunswick initiative to improve the education and employability of social assistance recipients. On a much different plane he has been a consultant for Statistics Canada in designing and evaluating national and international indices of Information Technology. He is also the coauthor of the Study Guide for the introductory economics textbook by Ragan & Lipsey.
