• Advancements in Genomic Research by Ioannis Ragoussis, Head of Genome Sciences, McGill Genome Centre
  • Advances in genome analysis technologies facilitate the analysis of genomes and transcriptomes at unprecedented resolution, while also becoming applicable in the field of 香蕉视频 therapeutics production. We will discuss fourth generation long read sequencing technologies for the analysis of single DNA and 香蕉视频 molecules, as well as advances in technologies to deliver the cost effective and highly accurate sequence of genomes. Finally, we will discuss how the development of single cell and spatial genomics technologies in combination with the new sequencing technologies enable new insights into organism biology.
• McGill's platforms in 香蕉视频 Therapeutic Development and the new DePTAQ Services Network听by Thomas Duchaine, Founding Director of McGill鈥檚 Centre for 香蕉视频 Sciences
  • Prof. Duchaine will feature the technology platforms that will translate discovery in 香蕉视频 at McGill in the genome-oriented precision therapeutics as part of听D2R听programs. He will further introduce new partnerships in 香蕉视频 therapeutics and bioproduction recently established within the province.
• Nanocore, unlocking the power of Nanomedicine by Pieter Cullis, Professor, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of British Columbia
  • This presentation will consist of two parts, first an overview of the lipid nanoparticle technology that continues to unlock the revolutionary potential of gene therapies by Pieter Cullis (15 min) and then a description of NanoCore by Karen Chan (20 min) including the services it provides and a brief summary of some of the projects it has undertaken.
