Biography: 

Dr. Marilyn N. Ahun is a public health researcher who uses quantitative and qualitative methods to examine the mechanisms through which parental mental health and parenting behaviours impact child development and mental health across different sociocultural contexts. She also works on the design, implementation, and evaluation of population-based interventions to promote child, youth, and family mental health. She joins the Faculty from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, where she completed a postdoctoral fellowship in global health. She completed her undergraduate (BA in Honors Psychology, McGill) and doctoral (PhD in Public Health, Université de Montréal) studies in Montréal.
