The Department of Medicine is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Stéphanie-Kim CératÌý²¹²Ô»åÌýDr. Natasha Nathoo to the position of Co-Program Directors, McGill General Internal Medicine Residency Training Program, effective September 11, 2023.
Dr. Cérat is a member of the Attending Staff of the MUHC, Division of General Internal Medicine, and Assistant Professor in the McGill Department of Medicine. Dr. Cérat received her MD from the Université de Montréal where she also completed her Core IM and GIM training. She completed additional training with a Masters in Medical Education from Université de Montréal and Obstetric Medicine training at the University of Alberta. | |
Dr. Nathoo is also a member of the Attending Staff of the MUHC, Division of General Internal Medicine, and Assistant Professor in the McGill Department of Medicine. Dr. Nathoo received her MD from Université Laval and completed her Core IM and GIM training at McGill. She is also completing additional training with a Master's in Health Professions Education from the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands and has completed her Obstetric Medicine training at the University of British Columbia. |
Not only do they bring with them a wealth of knowledge from their graduate training in Health Professions Education and from their past involvement in the GIM RPCs, but they also bring much enthusiasm and genuine desire to continue fostering the excellence of the program and the support of our trainees.
Drs. Cérat and Nathoo will be succeeding Dr. Patrick Willemot who served as GIM Program Director with distinction for the past 8 years. We sincerely thank Dr. Willemot for his years of dedication and hard work as GIM Program Director. His passion for GIM, his unwavering support and mentorship of trainees and his advocacy on their behalf and on behalf of the program all combined have been tremendous and have continued to make our McGill program one of the best in the country.
