We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Vanessa Tardio and Dr. Vincent Larouche as co-Directors of the Endocrinology and Metabolism training program.
Dr. Tardio is an accomplished educator, having previously served as Program Director, been awarded Teacher of the Year awards in 2019 and 2023 and developing many innovations for the training program including simulation and interactive learning modules for endocrine emergencies, a research curriculum, orientation and on-call survival guides, and other resources.
Dr. Larouche has been active in the training program since serving as chief resident in 2017-2018 and as JGH site director for the program since 2019. He won the Teacher of the Year Award for the program in 2021 as well as the McGill TCP Internal Medicine Tutor of the Year Award in 2022.
We are fortunate to have Dr. Tardio and Dr. Larouche leading the training program with enthusiasm and expertise!
