Published: 27 November 2015
Learn. Design. Innovate. These are the objectives of the new Surgical Innovation Program jointly offered by the Department of Surgery at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ, the John Molson School of Buisness at Concordia University and the Ecole de techonologie supérieure (ETS).
The graduate level program is the first of its kind in Canada and was launched in September 2015. Modeled after a successful venture at Stanford University, the program aims to give students the tools they need to create advanced technology companies in the field of surgery. Professor Jake Barralet of the Division of Biomedical Sciences in the Faculty of Dentistry is the Program Co-Director.
