Dr. Peter Chauvin & the Toronto Study Club
Join McGill's Dr. Peter Chauvin, DDS'88, and the Toronto Study Club for an evening of Tales in Oral Pathology. This case based presentation will focus on patient perceptions, misconceptions and difficulties when afflicted with a mouth disease.
Dr. Peter Chauvin obtained his dental degree from Ï㽶ÊÓƵ in 1988. Following a Multidisciplinary Residency Program at the Royal Victoria Hospital he completed his Graduate Training at the University of Western Ontario in Oral Pathology. He is a Fellow of The American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists in Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology.
He is currently Assistant Dean Academic for Undergraduate Dental Education in the Faculty of Ï㽶ÊÓƵ. He maintains a clinical practice with a focus on mucosal disorders. He has received numerous teaching awards including the W.W. Wood award and Howard Katz Award for excellence in teaching.
