A conversation on Equity, Diversity and Allyship in Health Sciences and Academia (Dr. Boluwaji Ogunyemi)
On Wednesday, November 10, the EDI Committee of the Faculty of Dentistry invites you to participate in a virtual conversation by Dr. Ogunyemi on Equity, Diversity and Allyship in Health Sciences and Academia.
Dr. Boluwaji Ogunyemi is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine (Dermatology) and Assistant Dean of Social Accountability at Memorial University of Newfoundland.
A Diversity and Anti-Racism educator and communicator, he has given several keynote speeches for professional, academic and community audiences including a TEDx Talk and presentations for the Atlantic Immigration Summit, Black Physicians of Ontario, Rotary Newfoundland and Labrador and The Association for New Canadians. He has been published in The New York Times, The Globe and Mail, CBC, and Huffington Post.
