Congratulations to Nazanin Hojjati for being awarded the very prestigious Lieutenant Governor of Quebec Award! Nazanin was nominated by the Dean of Students, André Costopoulos, for her outstanding academic and extra-curricular achievements. Throughout her years in the Faculty of Dentistry Nazanin has been heavily involved with the Dental Students’ Society, her class council, the Faculty’s Outreach Programs and other volunteer activities. Nazanin is currently President of the DSS for the 2014-2015 academic year. As a volunteer Nazanin has taken part in the organisation of the Outreach run for the last four years, and in 2013 was part of the organising committee for the Chinese New Year Dinner (now called the Outreach Winter Gala).
