Updates from the Institute for Human Development and Well-Being

Published: 24 July 2020

The Institute for Human Development and Well-Being (IHDW) has been busy this summer as the world rapidly adapted to the ever-evolving COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the challenges that have arisen, the IHDW has taken on many positive and successful projects.Ìý

The Institute's work addresses the role that leadership and policy-making can play in human development and well-being for individuals who:

  • Have physical, psychological and intellectual disabilities
  • Have experienced emotional, physiological and mental health issues
  • Belong to traditionally at-risk populations including those with low socioeconomic status, Indigenous peoples, and minorities
