McGill Community of Lifelong Learning Open House
Montréal (Québec) H3A 2M7
Going back to school as an older adult can be an exciting and rejuvenating journey. Whether you are retired or still working, the McGill Community for Lifelong Learning (MCLL) offers study groups and lectures that could be just what you are looking for.
Join us at the McGill Community of Lifelong Learning Open House on Wednesday, November 27 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. to discover our offerings and meet the vibrant community that makes MCLL so special. Over coffee, you will have the chance to connect with members and volunteers and learn about the many benefits of joining our community.
This winter, MCLL is offering around 40 study groups and just as many lectures, covering a wide range of topics. At the Open House, you will hear directly from our study group moderators about their plans for the Winter 2025 term. Explore subjects such as history, art, theatre, politics, international affairs, science and technology, literature, drama and music. Â You will also find other hands-on learning activities such as French conversation, and creative writing, and even self-defence training for women.Â
Beyond the enriching learning opportunities, MCLL offers a variety of social events and exclusive, including full access to McGill’s world-class academic library.
Attendance is free, but registration is required.
If you are interested, but not able to join us November 27, you can still learn more about the McGill Community for Lifelong Learning here.
