Students ofFrance‘s can now experience life in beautiful Montreal while broadening their business acumen and expanding their professional network thanks to a new partnership with 㽶Ƶ’s School of Continuing Studies.

GEMStudents will get to experience the many wonderful cultural events and festivities Montreal has to offer, whilespending up to 12 months at the School of Continuing Studies to complete a graduate diploma in topics such as Management,Applied Marketing, Public Relations andCommunications Management, Entrepreneurship and more.Upon completion of their program, students will have earnedcredits toward their program back in Franceandtheirdegree from GEM.Two Master’s Degreestudents are already slated to join the McGill School of Continuing Studies for the 2020-21 academic year.

“Exchange programs such as thisare essential for the modern businessperson as they teach the cross-cultural skills that are necessary to succeed in today’s international marketplace,” says Guy Mineau, Director of Faculty Partnerships and Summer Studies at McGill’s School of Continuing Studies. “GEM was a natural choice for us as its located in what is known as the Silicon Valley of France due to its reputation as a major industrial research hub and vibrant city and since GEM’s Board of Directors is appointed by Grenoble’s Chamber of Commerce, the school’s leadership ranks among the most influential people in the world”.

Participants will be selectedon the basis ofmerit without regard to race, national or ethnic origin,colour, religion, age, sex, marital status, physical handicap, or sexual orientation. Applicants must meet mutually acceptable academic and/or professional qualifications and standards to be accepted.

With over 15 years of experience in services marketing, Currently Acting Director of Marketing and Communications at McGill School of Continuing Studies, David Kynan has over 15 years of experience in service marketing and a proven track record for results in digital marketing, social media, copy and content writing, event planning and management, and public relations. He is currently completing his MSc in Marketing at HEC Montréal and speaks English, French, Spanish and German.
