Students who complete the graduate level Diploma in Supply Chain and Operations ManagementÌýfrom the McGill School of Continuing Studies will now also be eligible to able to attain the Chartered Manager (C.Mgr.) designation, the most prestigious status that can be achieved in the management profession.ÌýÌý
McGill’sÌýDiploma in Supply Chain and Operations ManagementÌýis a graduate-level program designed to prepare students for management careers in a wide array of industries andÌýtoÌýposition them as indispensableÌýinÌýhelpingÌýtheir organization adapt to and meet ever-changing global, environmental and operational challenges.ÌýTaught by expert practitioners in business, supply chain management and logistics, this 30-credit program consists of 10 courses that cover the full spectrum of supply chain management and operations topics, includingÌýmanaging supplier and customer relations, quality control, logistics and distribution, project management, lean and Six-Sigma methods, and decision-making using quantitative analysis.ÌýÌý
Students can attend on a full- or part-time basis, with evening classes tailored to fit the busy schedule of working professionals. Upon completing the diploma, graduates will be eligible to become a member ofÌýÌýand obtain theÌýC.Mgr. designationÌýprovided thatÌýhe or she has at least 48 months of professional-level management experience and successfully complete the following 3 additional courses from the McGill School of Continuing Studies’ÌýDiploma in ManagementÌý±è°ù´Ç²µ°ù²¹³¾:Ìý

Students who complete the Diploma and the 3 additional courses will also attain the CIM Chartered Management Program (CMP) Certificate when they become CIM members. Once their diploma is complete, to attain theÌýC.Mgr. designation, students will be required toÌýsubmit 3 professional references, cover all applicable fees and complete the CIM Management Aptitude Evaluation (MAE).Ìý
Chartered Managers are required to maintain current membership in good standing withÌý, abide by the Code of Ethics, and Professional Conduct, and commit to Continuing Professional Development (CPD).ÌýÌý
With theÌýDiploma in Supply Chain and Operations ManagementÌýand the CIM CMP Certificate, graduates will be equipped to enhance their performance as managers, advance their careers, and will stand out with theÌýC.Mgr. post-nominals, joining a network of Chartered Managers that are recognized and valued across the world.ÌýÌý
