Chemical Society Seminar: Dr. King Kuok (Mimi) Hii - Catalysis across lengthscales

Tuesday, January 10, 2017 13:00to14:15
Maass Chemistry Building Room 10, 801 rue Sherbrooke Ouest, Montreal, QC, H3A 0B8, CA

Abstract: The central focus of my research is to develop clean and sustainable processes for organic synthesis that are also scalable. In this presentation, research highlights from my group will be presented: a whirlwind tour of molecular catalysis, heterogeneous catalysis implemented in flow, and the implementation of flow technology to understand the catalytic process – with the aim of showcasing the multidisciplinary nature of our approach.
