Members of the Service Employees’ Union (SEU) Local 800 (FTQ) from McGill’s Printing Services and Data Centre voted in favour of new collective agreements at general assemblies held respectively on October 4 and 5, 2016. The unions, which represent some 10Ìýemployees, and the University had reached tentative agreements in May 2016. These new agreements will be in effect for five years from the day they are signed.

Members of the Service Employees’ Union (SEU) Local 800 (FTQ) from McGill’s Facilities Management, Student Housing Services, Dining Services and the Faculty Club voted in favour of a proposed new collective agreement at a general assembly held on September 24, 2016. The union, which represents some 350 employees, and the University had reached a tentative agreement in May 2016. This new agreement will be in effect for five years from the day it is signed.

Two other SEU units (Printing Services and Data Centre) will submit new collective agreements to their membership shortly.
