Eleven Quebec universities have joined forces and signed the Nature Positive Pledge, becoming founding members of an international movement that includes 117 universities worldwide.

Dr. Joanne Liu, Professor focusing on pandemic and health emergencies at the McGill School of Population and Global Health (SPGH) co-authored an opinion piece in the Globe and Mail.
"When you look at Canada’s biggest universities, McGill is an outlier. The Montreal university has some of the weakest measures for preventing transmission of COVID-19."
