Ann-Sophie Bettez (BCom'11), a McGill graduate and former BLG Award winner as athlete of the year in Canadian Interuniversity Sport, has been selected by the CIS as their nominee for best individual female university athlete honours for the third annual FISU Gender Equality - Sport Awards gala.
As the Canadian representative of the Fédération internationale du sport universitaire, CIS has put Bettez's name forward as well as a nomination for the University of Victoria's "SheKicks" campaign, which has been nominated in the special projects category.

MOOC, an acronym that's odd to pronounce, stands for Massive Open Online Course. In a nutshell, a MOOC allows free access online to top courses and teachers from elite universities.
