In 2018, when the Fetherstonhaugh family envisioned an award to recognize and reward teaching excellence, they hoped for great teachers and at the Desautels Faculty of Management extraordinary teachers emerged. As the recipient of the 2022 Fetherstonhaugh Family Foundation Distinguished Teaching Award for Undergraduate Programs, Prof. of Practice Sujata Madan engages with students in a way that promotes and accelerates their classroom and lifelong learning.

Three Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting (GCPA) participants Charles-Olivier Boucher, Carlo Frediani and Sebastian Molina Calvo have been named on the Honour Roll of the (CFE) for their outstanding results.
Congratulations to Amanda Abrams, Faculty Lecturer, and Elliot Lifson, Professor of Practice and Desautels Faculty Advisory Board member, who were honored at McGill’s Management Convocation ceremony for their excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels respectively.
The GCPA program raised a total of $1,515 through a raffle to support the Canadian Red Cross and victims of the West Island floods.
The winner was a second-year GCPA student, Steffi Nguonly, who announced that she too would be donating her winnings in support of the same cause.
