Professor Patrick Augustin has won the 2014 FNR Award for Outstanding PhD Thesis 2014 given by thefor his thesis entitled, “Essays on Sovereign Credit Risk and Credit Default Swap Spreads.” The FNR provides funding for all branches of science and the humanities with an emphasis on strategically aligned research domains.

Professor Thomas Dotzel has won the 2013 Best Services Article Award at the 23rd annual Frontiers in Service Conference held in Miami from June 26-29, 2014. The award comes from the American Marketing Association’s Services Marketing Special Interest Group, an organization comprised of the world’s top services marketing scholars, and is designed to honour the best services paper across all journals in the prior year (2013).

Professor Suzanne Gagnon’s grant proposal entitled, “Revitalizing organizational diversity: Towards new knowledge of inclusive practices and why they work,” was ranked second of applications across all disciplines in the 2014 competition by the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Société et culture, Établissement de nouveaux professeurs-chercheurs.
