PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Rutgers men's basketball team hosts Ï㽶ÊÓƵ in an exhibition contest on Monday, November 1 at 7:30 p.m. Admission to the game is free of charge. The exhibition match-up provides RU fans their initial opportunity to view first-year head coach Mike Rice in action.
The Scarlet Knights enter the 2010-11 campaign with five returning scholarship players in the locker room. The Scarlet Knights are lean in terms of size and numbers, but possess skill and versatility. Five scholarship newcomers, including three true freshmen, have arrived to supplement a roster that must replace its top scorer and rebounder. The task is aided by three returning seniors and one sophomore who return to the BIG EAST hardwood with the benefit of starting experience.
McGill is an international university located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, whose main language of instruction is English. The Redmen, who posted a 12-18 overall record in 2009-10, are under the leadership of first-year head coach Dave DeAveiro.
