RE: Research Administration Roles and Responsibilities

Dear Colleagues,

We invite you to take a few minutes to review McGill’s Research Administration Roles and Responsibilities, initially released in November 2012. The document outlines the key roles and responsibilities researchers, Departments, Schools, Faculties and central administration play in the effective and compliant management of research funds.  It was recently updated to include new requirements related to the appropriate delegation of signing authority by Principal Investigators as well as in regards to the regular attendance by unit administrative staff to research administration training and networking sessions.

We thank you for your ongoing support in the collective effort required to promote and ensure the highest standards of compliance with both sponsor and Institutional policies and procedures.
