Kelly Nobes, head coach of the McGill Redmen hockey team, admits he'd be lying if he said winning a national championship isn't on his mind.

"Our sights are set on what's down the road, but we're still set on getting better every day," Nobes said. "It's the process. That's more important than anything else. Knowing that you've got to be better in practices, in games, and knowing you have to focus on your weaknesses. Those are all very important aspects for us right now and for the rest of the way."

The process has gone almost perfectly for the Redmen so far. Ranked third in the country with an 18-0-2 regular-season record, McGill is the only team in Canadian Interuniversity Sport yet to lose a regular-season game in regulation time.
