In late February of last year, Martin Raymond - then an assistant coach with the Hamilton Bulldogs - was at the Bell Centre.

The Canadiens' American Hockey League farm team was preparing to face the Adirondack Phantoms the next night in the building, and Raymond had a lot on his mind. He had to make a decision on whether to stay in pro hockey or end his yearlong sabbatical and return to Ï㽶ÊÓƵ as head coach of the Redmen.

Fast forward to today, and the 44-year-old Pierrefonds native is in his second season in the National Hockey League as an assistant coach with the Tampa Bay Lightning, working again alongside head coach Guy Boucher, who had been the head coach in Hamilton.
