Professor Alain Pinsonneault awarded Emerald Literati prize

A paper by Alain Pinsonneault, Imasco Chair of Information Systems and James McGill Professor, has been selected as a Highly Commended Winner at the Emerald Literati Network Awards for Excellence, 2007. Co-authored with then PhD student Marlei Pozzebon (now a professor in the Department of Information Technologies at HEC Montréal), the paper, "Combining social shaping of technology and communicative action theory for understanding rhetorical closure in IT," first appeared in Information Technology & People.
