Prof. Bruce Reed to be inducted as RSC Fellow

The Faculty of Science is proud to announce that Bruce Reed, a mathematician and theoretical computer scientist in the School of Computer Science, has been elected as a Fellow to the Royal Society of Canada, in recognition of his outstanding scientific achievements. Professor Reed has made deep contributions in the areas of discrete mathematics and probabilistic combinatorics. He is among the 77 new Fellows, two Specially Elected Fellows and two Foreign Fellows to be elected to Canada’s oldest and most prestigious scholarly society. This year’s new Fellows will be inducted at a ceremony on November 28-29 in Ottawa.
