All NIH and other USPHS Agency fundedÌýinvestigators have to be able to describe theirÌýformal trainingÌýin research ethics when applying for research funds for studies that involve human subjects.

To assist in this requirement the Faculty suggests that:

1. You complete the tutorial on the NIH website:

2. You download the Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Ethical & Legal Aspects of Research Involving Human Subjects Conducted in the Faculty of Medicine & Affiliated Hospitals:Policies & Procedures that contains the documents required for compliance with USPHS funded studies on humans so that you can inform the agency that you and your colleagues are aware of and apply these regulations.Ìý Along with the tutorial certificate, this will provide you with a program that you can descrcibe when applying for grants or contracts or when new installments of funds for current projects are to be released.
