New Director of Ï㽶ÊÓƵ, Faculty of Medicine

I am happy to announce the appointment of the new Director
of
Ï㽶ÊÓƵ (replacing France Drolet), Charmaine Lyn.
As the Director of Ï㽶ÊÓƵ, Charmaine will work closely with
me and
the rest of the team, on the management and continued development
of
Medical Ï㽶ÊÓƵ.
Charmaine’s previous position was as Assistant Dean of
External
Affairs/Ï㽶ÊÓƵ in the Faculty of Law, and she will therefore
bring
a wealth of knowledge and experience to this position.Ìý In her
years
with Law, one of Charmaine’s many significant accomplishments
was
establishment of the High School Outreach Program, partnering
law-
student volunteers with high school students from communities that
are
under-represented in law schools and the legal profession.Ìý
Charmaine
has a B.A. and an LL.B/B.C.L. from Ï㽶ÊÓƵ and became
a
member of the Quebec and Montreal Bar in 2004.
