More progress in talks with AMURE
Both parties met on May 23. The union suggested some changes to the proposed English end French versions of article 9 – intellectual property and conduct of research, article 10 – union activities, and article 11 – labour relations committee. The University agreed to the proposed changes and the final versions of these articles will be ratified at the next meeting. Discussions on posting, appointment and selection processes took place while each party explained the rationale behind their respective proposals. These topics will be further discussed at the next meeting set for June 6.
