A message to newly accepted and returning students affected by the current conflict in the Middle East
If you have been accepted and have confirmed your offer of admission to McGill and are having difficulty obtaining entry into Canada in time for the start of classes, every effort will be made to defer your admission to January 2007 or September 2007, depending on what is appropriate for the program to which you have been accepted. Please send an e-mail as soon as possible to admissions [at] mcgill.ca or phone us at 514-398-3910 (open Monday through Friday), detailing your McGill ID number and your circumstances. We will investigate what measures can be taken and respond to you within a few days.
Returning students, please see the message on the International Students website.
A message to the general public
Due to limited capacity in our academic programs, McGill is no longer in a position to consider any new applications for the Fall term of 2006 and Winter term of 2007 from students whose plans to study at a university in the Middle East are affected by the difficulties. You are invited to submit your application for the Fall 2007 term (applications are accepted starting in September 2006 and details will be posted at www.mcgill.ca/applying). A limited number of programs at McGill will be open for January 2007 admission (this list will be published in late September).
