As part of mechanical renovations servicing McIntyre laboratories, fume hoods' evacuation lines are being reconfigured.

This requires a service shutdown to fume hoods while the system is being upgraded. 聽The shutdowns will occur in three phases, each of which will affect approximately one third of floors 1-14.

Phase 1 of the fume hood shutdown will be from September 7 to early October 2010.

The building director sent a notice covered the phases in which these fume hoods will be shutdown. Building users can refer to the e-mailed notice for the phases and list of fume hoods affected.
